Lord Shri Ganesh bade farewell with devotion
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan immersed at Prempura Ghat with devotion and traditional fervour the image of Lord Shri Ganesh set up at Chief Minister’s House here today. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan’s wife Smt. Sadhna Singh, relatives, Revenue Minister Shri Rampal Singh, MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma, officers-employees of CM House-Office and large number of devotees took part in the procession.
The procession taken out from CM’s House reached Prempura Ghat via Mata Mandir and Nehru Nagar crossing. On way, the devotees showered flower petals and raised slogans Ganpati Bappa Maurya. Throughout the route, the Chief Minister walked singing Shri Ganpati Bhajan.
Amidst slogans of “Ganpati Bappa Maurya”, Shri Chouhan worshiped image of Lord Shri Ganesh will full religious rites and rituals. He immersed the image in the water body specially developed with holy Narmada water by municipal corporation. He also distributed Prasad to devotees.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Shri Ganesh is Siddhi Vinayak and deity of wisdom. He prayed to Him for staying in Madhya Pradesh, country and hearts of all people.
