Lord Ram Exists in Our soul: CM
Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Lord Ram has been part of our whole being and even he resides in our breath. He is our existence and also breath of life. He said that the Ramayan, based on the Lord Ram is a unique literary book. Impressive description has been given in it about the personality and work of Lord Ram. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing World Ramayan Conference in Jabalpur today.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Lord Ram has been associated with our life in such a deep manner that people from rural areas to cities says ‘Ram Ram’ as the expression of greetings and meeting with each other. Common man reminds the Lord Ram in difficulties and grief. The Chief Minister said that our fundamental concept is that Ram is part of every material whether is live or conscious. One consciousness exists in entire universe. The Chief Minister said that Ramayan is the best literature inspiring for ethics in present era. He said that description of ideal parents, brother and servant, given in Ramayan based on Ramkatha, is inspiring.
Quoting ‘Namami Devi Narmade’ – Narmada Seva Yatra, Shri Chouhan said that rivers are not mere carrier of water but they are really mother. He said that water stream of life line Narmada is shrinking because of neglecting of environment. Human felled trees along the side of the rivers for vested interests. The Chief Minister said that state government had taken the resolution to make the river flow with its natural current again. Plantation will be carried out alongside of the river. We will make the area full of greenery with public support.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that treatment plants would be set up at different places so that water can remain clean in the river. Liquor shops would not be allowed to open in villages adjacent to the river from coming year.
Sah Sarkaryvah of Rashtriya Swayamsevek Sangh Dr Krishnagopal, in his address, said that the character of Maryada Purushottam Ram has set in our mind that every day it looks different. He said that there is no regional language in the country in which description of the Lord Ram is not there. Minister of state for culture Shri Surendra Patwa and president of the organising committee and former minister Shri Ajay Vishnoi also addressed the programme. A souvenir was released on the occasion.
