Lord Ardh-Nareeshwars idol unveiled
Bhopal. Home and Jails Minister Shri Babulal Gaur unveiled idol of Lord Ardh-Nareeshwar installed by Bhopal’s Tamil Society at Barkhera Sector-F on AIIMS Road here today. Tamil Society has got Ardh-Nareeshwar of Shiv-Parvati carved by sculptors of Trichi.
Along with his 11 companions, Tamilnadu’s eminent sculptor Shri Manigandan has sculpted this 9 feet 6 inches tall idol in 11 days. Such materials and colours have been used in sculpture of the idols that seasonal changes and rains will not affect it. Tamil Society’s Shri S. Ravichandran informed that Pt. Subramaniym Shastri has come from Trichi to install the idol. He installed it with due religious rites. Tamil Samaj has constructed the temple at a cost of Rs. 67 lakh. Shri Ravichandran informed that that this is the first such idol in Bhopal.
Shri Kewal Mishra, Shri Barelal Ahirwar, Shri Jaswant Singh and Shri Subramaniyam were present on the occasion.
