Life meaningful only through social service : CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that life becomes meaningful only through social service works. Shri Chouhan was addressing a programme held by Justice Tankha Memorial Institute for Special Children at Hotel Noor-us-Sabah here today. Culture and Public Relations Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma also participated in the function.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that every section of society has the right to live and smile. The people who are considered incomplete in any respect deserve more love, affection and sensitivity. He said that the people who are in higher echelons of society should discharge this responsibility specially. The words said from a height reach far and wide.
Shri Chouhan said that success of any work cannot be ensured only through government efforts. It will be possible only when people of country and society will come forward to accomplish it. He urged those present on the occasion to come forward for welfare of the disabled and take up at least one work for their cuase.
At the function, Shri Chouhan congratulated office-bearers of the institute for holding this event. He said that he has become overwhelmed after participating in the function.
At the outset, Shri Aga Abdul Qayyum welcomed the Chief Minister. On the occasion, children presented attractive programmes. Noted singer Shri Talat Aziz presented ghazals.
