Kamal Nath should first listen to the call of Sikhs: Nirmala Sitharaman

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Bhopal: Said- Kamal Nath should first listen to the call of Sikhs, MP is unmatched because of 5G.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has come to Bhopal to campaign for BJP candidates. She said, Kamal Nath talks about the screams and cries of women. They should first listen to the call of the Sikhs.

On the statement given by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar in the Assembly, she said that it is a shameful statement. It is a matter of sadness that the opposition leaders are supporting instead of condemning. These people consider women as vote bank.

On the question of Madhya Pradesh paying loan interest and taking loan, Sitharaman said – When you talk about the absolute amount of total loan, the state has so much loan. So its context gets hidden. Therefore, when you combine it with GDP, you will see how much your loan is. The correct figure will be visible by comparing it with GDP. Madhya Pradesh is showing good progress in terms of credit. As seen at the level of GDP, the debt situation has reduced.

She said that Madhya Pradesh has progressed a lot since 2003. When BJP government came to power in Madhya Pradesh, this state was called Bimaru Pradesh. But, now Madhya Pradesh has become a unique state. Be it a matter of social justice, progress of the state, industry and agriculture. If we look at the figures on these subjects one by one, we can see the progress of Madhya Pradesh. The contribution of Madhya Pradesh in the progress of the country is clearly visible. Look at the situation in Karnataka. The poor, women and Dalits should be included in inclusive growth. Therefore the example of Madhya Pradesh is unique. The credit for this goes to the BJP government. There are five principles of this governance. The mantra of 5G is growth.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman held a press conference at BJP’s media center in Bhopal on Thursday.

She said that the per capita income of Madhya Pradesh was around Rs 11 thousand in 2002. Today it has increased 12 times to 1.40 lakh. This is an example of coming out of sick. In 2002, state debt relative to GDP was 31.6 percent. But that has come down to 27.8%. Tax distribution between the Center and the State. Tax devolution is decided by the Finance Commission. The Finance Commission decides the percentage. During the ten years of UPA government from 2004 to 2014, Madhya Pradesh received only Rs 1.28 lakh crore. But from 2014 till now Madhya Pradesh gets Rs 5 lakh crore. During the tenure of UPA, Rs 71 crore was given as grants. Now Rs 2.7 lakh crore is available.

She said, ever since the women of the state started getting the benefits of Ladli Behan schemes, the standard of living of women has changed. First Ladli Laxmi Yojana, after Sambal Yojana, now Ladli Behan Yojana has been started by Madhya Pradesh. Here, plans are being made keeping women at the center. Many other states are also implementing this scheme of Madhya Pradesh.
