Investment proposals received for tourism, food processing, renewable energy and infrastructure development

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed an interactive session on Wednesday evening during his Dubai visit. As the keynote speaker, Shri Chouhan dwelt in detail on industrial possibilities in Madhya Pradesh and invited investors. During discussions with Shri Chouhan in the session, a number of investment proposals received for tourism, food processing, renewable energy and infrastructure development sectors.

At Dubai’s Hotel Crown Plaza, Shri Chouhan gave information about Global Investors Summit at Indore in October in the presence of large number of Dubai’s noted industrialists, investors and distinguished citizens. Shri Chouhan specially underlined charismatic achievements of Madhya Pradesh in infrastructure development and agriculture sectors. Shri Chouhan hoped that Global Investors Summit will turn out to be a milestone for state’s industrial development and creation of job opportunities for youths. Shri Chouhan invited investors to the state referring to policy of zero-tolerance for corruption in the state, industry-friendly policy, human resources, relatively cheaper labour power, efforts for skill development etc.

At the outset, Secretary-General of Indian Business Promotion Council Shri Naveen Kapoor greeted Chief Minister Shri Chouhan with a bouquet. National Anthems of India and United Arab Emirates were sung. Council’s President Shri Paras Shahdadpuri delivered the welcome address. Madhya Pradesh’s Principal Secretary Industries Shri Mohammad Sulaiman gave a presentation about investment possibilities in Madhya Pradesh. Council’s Vice-President Dr. G.S. Vajpayee proposed a vote of thanks. Earlier, the guests exchanged mementoes. Interactive session was followed by a dinner.
