Accelerate pace of development of small and medium industries

Bhopal: “Cases pertaining to development of small, medium and micro industries should be approved at a rapid pace. Cases upto Rs. 10 lakh should also be sanctioned at the bank level on the basis of eligibility”. These directives have been given by Additional Chief Secretary Commerce and Industries Shri P.K. Dash. He was holding discussions on development of industries at a meeting of State-level Bankers’ Sub-committee at Mantralaya today. Shri Dash directed that there should be no delay in clearing the cases about which bank branch managers are satisfied and which have no practical difficulties. Discussions on Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana’s targets for the current year were also held at the meeting.

It was informed at the meeting that it is being seriously considered to adopt online application process of sanction of cases under Yuva Swarozgar Yojana from next year. This will do away with paper work and save on time taken in sanction.

Punjab National Bank’s Field General Manager Shri Himanshu Joshi, Commissioner Institutional Finance Shri Ashish Upadhyay and TRIFAC’s Managing Director Shri Arun Kumar Bhatt were also present on the occasion.
