Immense potential for industries in Shivpuri : CM Shri Chouhan

Gwalior: In view of possibilities for establishment of industries in Gwalior and Chambal divisions, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan undertook an aerial survey of Shivpuri district today, discussed establishment of industries at Boodra on Mohna-Pohri Road and gave necessary directives.
Shri Chouhan said that there is immense potential for setting up industries in Gwalior and Chambal divisions. Infrastructure will be developed and basic facilities extended to industries in the areas of the divisions, which are most conducive from industrial point of view.
The Chief Minister said that except 9 thousand 116 hectare land of Sheep Breeding Area on Agra-Mumbai National Highway in Shivpuri district, remaining land will be reserved for industries. He said that after aerial survey and discussions with officers, he has reached the conclusion that several types of industries can be established in Shivpuri district. For this, basic facilities like water and transport are available in the district. Shri Chouhan said that increase in the number of industries will result into state’s industrial development and more jobs to youths. These industries will provide 50 percent jobs to local youths. He said that ITIs and Skill Development Centres have been established in the state to impart training to youths.
Chief Secretary Shri R. Parasuram, MP Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, divisional commissioner Shri S.B. Singh, Zila Panchayat Chairman Shri Jitendra Singh Jain, Shri Ranveer Singh Rawat, MLAs Shri Prahlad Bharti, Shri Makhanlal Rathore, Shri Devendra Jain and Shri Ramesh Chandra Khatik, district collector, SP and people’s representatives were present on the occasion.
