Huge Marijuana Haul in CG

Chhattisgarh Police on Saturday said it had seized a truck carrying cannabis worth Rs.3 million from the Bastar district in the state.

“We seized a truck loaded with 91 sacks of ganja (marijuana) in a village near the national highway,” Keshkal police station in-charge, Suresh Dhruv, was quoted as saying.

The truck, with Chhattisgarh license plates, was confiscated but the driver and helper of the vehicle managed to escape, police said.
