Homoeopathy effective in preventing malaria
Bhopal. Minister of State for AYUSH and Renewable Energy Shri Harsh Singh has stressed the need to promote use of disease resistant medicines of homoeopathy, Ayurvedic and Unini systems for preventing rain-generated diseases in the state. He said that ‘Malaria Off 200’ homeopathic medicine has proved effective in malaria-affected areas of Sidhi district. A campaign would be launched to promote use of this medicine in malaria-affected villages of 17 districts.
MoS Shri Harsh Singh stated this while reviewing activities of AYUSH Department. The malaria-affected districts include Alirajpur, Anuppur, Ashok Nagar, Balaghat, Betul, Bhind, Chhindwara, Dhar, Dindori, Hoshangabad, Jhabua, Mandla, Ratlam, Shahdol, Sheopur, Shivpuri and Sidhi. ‘Malaria Off 200’ homeopathic medicine will be distributed to 5 lakh 99 thousand families in 3,177 villages in these districts. Cooperation of Asha workers will also be taken in the campaign. Campaign will be held in 2 phases. First phase will be held in July and second in September-October.
