Trinamool MPs Create Pandemonium in LS

Protesting against the ruling CPM’s ‘dictatorship’ and ceaseless attacks on its workers in the state, Trinamool Congress created pandemonium in Lok Sabha on Thursday, causing a brief adjournment of the House.

Chanting slogans, TC members rushed into the Well of the House during the Zero Hour, disrupting proceedings for the third time in the current session that commenced on November 19.

Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar and Kalyan Banerjee stormed the Well as other Trinamool members alleged that CPM continued to attack part workers and was engaged in ‘dictatorship’ in the state.

In view of the protest, Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House half an hour ahead of the scheduled lunch recess.

As the House adjourned, Trinamool Congress chief and Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee was heard complaining to her ministerial colleague V Narayanasamy about the ‘genocide’ in West Bengal.
