Healthy body leads to building of healthy society

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that healthy mind dwells in healthy body, which gives better contribution in rebuilding the society with good manners. Shri Chouhan was unveiling a statue of Guru Kashinath Dakare at Shri Achyutanand Guru Akhada in the presence of Swami Satyamitrananda Ji at Ujjain today. Culture and Public Relations Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma, Food Minister Shri Paras Jain, Minister of State for Urban Administration Shri Manohar Untwal, former MP Dr. Satyanarayan Jatia, MP Shri Raghunandan Sharma and Shri Makhan Singh Chauhan were also present on the occasion. Following unveiling of the statue, the Chief Minister felicitated Swami Satyamitrananda Ji Gurudev with a bouquet. The Gurudev blessed the Chief Minister.
Founder of Bharat Mata Mandir Swami Satyamitrananda Ji Gurudev said that cultural traditions have resulted into tradition of Akhadas in the country since the Vedic period. Shri Krishna had imbibed education at Sandipni Ashram from where tradition of Akhada began in the country. For the first time Shri Krishna had killed Kans in Mallayudha, which set the tradition of Mallayudha.
Swami Satyamitrananda Ji said that those who do good work in society are always praised. If an enemy sets evil eyes on our country, we should give such a reply that it does not dare to do the same again in future. For this, every youth in the society will have to gird up his loin and dedicate himself to the cause of country. Earlier, the guests released a book on meditation, exercise, malkhamb and other issues by Guruvar Shri Kashinath Dakare.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that preachings of the Gurudev are like salvation for us. About Akhadas, he said that they are contributing considerably in developing manners and morality in society. ‘Maa Tujhay Pranam” scheme has been launched by the State Government to create a sense of responsibility towards the country among youths. Under the scheme, youths will be taken on visit to country’s borders so that they develop spirit of patriotism. The Chief Minister said that new dimensions of development will be achieved in Ujjain following completion of Narmada-Kshipra Link Project and devotees will get adequate water to bathe during Simhastha. The State Government is committed to complete such works within prescribed time-limit.
