Gram Sabha in 52000 villages of state from Gandhi Jayanti Oct 2

Bhopal. Gram Sabha meetings will be held in 52000 villages in state from October 2, Gandhi Jayanti to October 15. State government has issued directives to district collectors and chief executive officers, district panchayat to ensure execution of cleanliness, Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana (rural), Gram panchayat development scheme, poverty free gram panchayat, nutrition, taxation and incentive schemes.

Strategy will be formed to make villages free from open defecation, waste and mud. Availability of resources of Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana will be ensured in the village itself. Approval will be taken in Gram Sabha meeting for cement concrete road in all scheduled caste, scheduled tribe localities, gutter construction, Shanti Dham, panchayat building, one pond in each Gram Panchayat on priority from Gram Panchayat Development Scheme.

MANREGA budget will be made for year 2017-18 in the meeting. Creation of human day and families of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe will be included in the budget. The works related with water conservation, pond and farm and vermicompost will be included.

Analysis of financial condition of all families and citizens will be made in the meeting. Effective execution process will be taken up for formation of self help group, skill development training and other activities for making poverty free gram panchayat. Resolution will be made to make all children of the village well-nourished.

Detail strategy for holding Gram Sabha meetings in districts will be made under guidance of district collector, and chief executive officers of district panchayat. A nodal officer will be deputed for it. Photo and video of Gram Sabha meetings will be uploaded on Panchayat Darpan portal.
