Govt. job to wife of sepoy martyred in Naxal attack
Bhopal: Last rites of sepoy late Shri Rahul Pratap Singh martyred in Naxalite attack in Chhattisgarh were performed with full state honours at village Kulhadia Ghat under Doomar Kachhar Gram Panchayat in Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh today. Minister of State for Forests and Revenue Shri Jai Singh Marawi represented Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the funeral.
Minister of State Shri Marawi gave away a cheque of Rs. 10 lakh on behalf of the State Government to martyr’s father Shri Virendra Kumar Singh. He informed that Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced to give government job to the martyr’s wife and a house to the bereaved family. Shri Marawi also read out a condolence message sent by the Chief Minister.
It is noteworthy that late Shri Rahul Pratap Singh was posted in District Police Force, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh.
