Govt. Assurance Ends Employee Strike
Bhopal — Striking state government employees and officials in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday called off their agitation following discussions with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Home Minister Umashankar Gupta
Chouhan assured the employees that their demands would be accorded serious consideration.
Gupta said that the state government would spare no efforts to safeguard the interests of employees and all their legitimate demands would be solved satisfactorily.
Speaking after the conclusion of talks, president of Officers-Employees Board DP Dube expressed unwaivering faith in the assurances issued by the state government.
