Governor pays tributes to late Smt. Indira Gandhi on birth anniversary
Bhopal. Governor Shri Ram Naresh Yadav has paid tributes to former Prime Minister late Smt. Indira Gandhi on her birth anniversary.
The Governor said that on account of her talent, foresight and political firmness, late Smt. Gandhi not only overwhelmed Indian political arena, but also left imprints on global political horizon. Smt. Gandhi was known as Iron Woman.
The Governor said that late Smt. Gandhi has given alert setup of national security and new direction to country’s foreign policy. Her significant contributions include Green Revolution, India’s victory on Pakistan in 1971 and nuclear explosion.
The Governor has exhorted youths ensure active participation in nation-building to realize dream of developed India seen by late Smt. Indira Gandhi.
