Four wagons of a goods train carrying coal derailed near Guna district on Saturday morning, said officials.
PTI reported that the train derailed one km from Guna station and disrupted traffic on the single line Guna-Bina section. The train was proceeding to Kota from Bina.
“Four wagons, including that of the guard, derailed at 9.15 am near Guna station,” Guna Station superintendent SP Gupta was quoted as saying by PTI.
He said that there was no casualty.
Following the incident, Bina-Guna passenger was cancelled today, while some other trains, including Sabarmati Express, may be delayed inordinately, he said.
