Fund constraint not to be allowed in expansion of veterinary services

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that good work is being done constantly in veterinary sector in the state. He also lauded efforts of Wildlife Forensic Centre for saving wildlife. Shri Chouhan was inaugurating new building of Wildlife Forensic Centre in Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary University at Jabalpur today. Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Ishwardas Rohani and Animal Husbandry Minister Shri Ajay Vishnoi were also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that livestock has important role in economy of the state. He said that fund constraint will not be allowed in veterinary services. Shri Chouhan also lauded Shri Ajay Vishnoi’s constant efforts in veterinary sector. Animal Husbandry Minister Shri Ajay Vishnoi said that Wildlife Forensic and Health Centre is a part of Veterinary University. He urged the Chief Minister to provide adequate funds for smooth running of this centre.
At the outset, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Govind Mishra informed that Wildlife Forensic and Health Centre is the first centre where health of wildlife is also being ensured apart from forensic tests of wildlife. At the function, a presentation was made before the Chief Minister through documentary film showcasing centre’s objectives, achievements and works.
