Entire staff of Gwalior Nari Niketan sacked

Bhopal:  Women & Child Development Minister Smt. Maya Singh undertook a surprise inspection of Nari Niketan at Gwalior and directed to sack entire staff of the centre and transfer Gwalior District Women’s Empowerment Officer. She said that no negligence will be tolerated regarding women.

Smt. Maya Singh reached Nari Niketan centre along with officers of district administration this morning. She directed to completely overhaul arrangements at the centre.

Smt. Singh directed to convert the centre to Asha Kiran Centre. Expressing displeasure over recent incidents at the centre, she directed for inspections of all Nari Niketans and children’s shelter homes by the Women and Child Development Department and to streamline arrangements. She directed to suspended teacher Parwati Sharma posted at the center and issue show cause notices to departmental Assistant Directors Smt. Anju Shrivastava and Smt. Preeti Rana.
