Four new dialysis machines in Kamla Nehru Hospital

Bhopal. In a process of expansion of facilities in gas relief hospitals,  Four new dialysis machines has been set up in Government Kamla Nehru Gas Hospital. An LCD television has also been installed in the dialysis room for patients’ entertainment. These works have cost about Rs. 35 lakh 50 thousand.
‘At present, 36 patients are admitted in the hospital for dialysis. Gas-affected and BPL kidney patients are put to dialysis free of cost at the hospital,’ says Bhopal Gas Relief and Rehabilitation Department.
Moin-ur-Rahman (38), a resident of Peer Gate, Bhopal, informed that he has come to Kamla Nehru Hospital for dialysis for the first time. Earlier, he used to go to Bhopal Memorial Hospital for dialysis. He informed that there are better arrangements for dialysis at Kamla Nehru Hospital. Dialysis process lasts 3.5 to 4 hours. Arrangement of LCD TV for patients’ entertainment during this period is laudable. Gas-hit patient Shri Danish Ahmad (29), a resident of Shahjahanabad informed that he comes to Kamla Nehru Hospital for dialysis with an interval of 4-5 days. Patients have been facilitated much due to installation of four new dialysis machines. Now, he does not have to wait for long to undergo dialysis. All the medicines are provided free of cost from the hospital to gas-affected patients.
