Social activist Syed Abid Hussain to be felicitated at 2019 Karmaveer Chakra Award function in Noida
These awards are instituted by International Confederation of NGO in association with the United Nations
Bhopal: City-based Syed Abid Hussain will be awarded during the 2019 REX Karmaveer Chakra Award scheduled in Noida from November 26 to 28. Hussain, a social activist, will be felicitated during the award function for preaching international peace, helping people through social media, fighting social malpractices and establishing social connect.
Karmaveer Puruskaar is the National People’s Awards for Citizen Social Justice and action in India. These awards are instituted by International Confederation of NGO-(iCONGO) in association with the United Nations.
Better known as Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Hussain has helped several foreign nationals stranded in the country to return to their respective countries. The campaigns launched by him also helped several Indian nationals stuck in foreign lands to return to the country.
Hussain will share his experiences with noted personalities from across the country at the award function. He will also apprise people of power of social media that in turn can help them in serving community. The social activist expressed immense pleasure on being chosen for the reputed award.
Hussain hails from Rudrapur Bhagahi village in Tanda Tehsil of Ambedkar Nagar district, Uttar Pradesh.
