Education syllabus in Madhya Pradesh to be changed

Ujjain. Education syllabus in Madhya Pradesh will be changed. Along with science, history and culture, moral education-based education system would be adopted so as to raise a generation with character. This was announced by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan during Katha by Swami Avdheshanand Ji at Ujjain today. Shri Chouhan visited the Ashram along with his family.
The Chief Minister said that from ancient times, education is imparted by saints in India. We wish to adopt such education system through which a person can be developed as a real human being. He said that this syllabus will be introduced next year. New syllabus will comprise best lessons of Upnishad, Gita and epics of all other religions. He said that new education syllabus would be prepared in consultation with representatives of all religions and sects.

Shri Chouhan reiterate the resolve to constitute Happiness Ministry. He said that subjects like Yoga, Dhyana and self-less Karmayoga will be included in the new Ministry. He said that development does not mean mere construction of roads, bridges-culverts and other infrastructure, but ensuring successful and meaningful life of entire people. Happiness Ministry will be focused on these qualities. The Chief Minister said that the new Ministry would be constituted with guidance of representatives of all religions and sects. Objective of the Ministry would be to provide quality life to followers of all religions.

Mega plantation within one km radius of Narmada and Kshipra

The Chief Minister announced that with the cooperation of common people, mega plantation of fruit-bearing trees’ saplings will be undertaken within one km radius of both the banks of Narmada and Kshipra rivers. He said that the state government will give compensation to concerning farmers till these trees grow and start giving fruits. He said that through plantation, environment would improve, water would be conserved and water level will also increase in Narmada and Kshipra rivers. Shri Chouhan said that like Narmada-Kshipra Link Project, Kali Sindh, Parwati and other rivers will also be linked.

Rishi cultivation to be adopted

Expressing concern over ill effects of chemical fertilizers on soil, the Chief Minister said that Rishi cultivation meaning thereby organic farming will be promoted in the state.

Come to seek guidance for state’s progress

The Chief Minister told Swami Avdheshanand Ji that he has come to him to seek guidance for state’s progress. He sought blessings of the seer that he should maintain wisdom and continue to follow the right path.

CM performs garba with family

The Chief Minister had reached to listen to Katha with family. During Katha, entire audience were dancing to the tunes of Garba. The Chief Minister also could not resist himself from it and danced with his family.

Think-tank for guidance: Swami Avdheshanand Ji

Juna Peethadhishwar Swami Avdheshanand Ji lauded creative initiatives taken by the Chief Minister. He said that a think-tank comprising saints and seers of all religions will be formed to give guidance about constitution of Happiness Ministry and new education syllabus. Besides, guidance will also be given about Rishi cultivation. The think-tank would comprise scientists, technical experts, educationists and agriculture experts. Swami Avdheshanand Ji said that concept of Happiness Ministry would be ideal for other states also.
