Ecotourism Island Park to Be Developed in MP
The Madhya Pradesh Ecotourism Development Board has invited bids for design, development, operation and maintenance of an Ecotourism Island Park on National Highway 7, said media reports.
The park will be developed on a non-forest revenue land measuring 5.783 ha, located on the main Varanasi-Khajuraho NH7 beside River Beehar in District Rewa, reports said.
The project, which is to be developed on a public private partnership (PPP) basis, is for a specified concession period of 30 years, said reports.
Under the project, water sports, adventure sports, nature interpretation centre, cafeteria, rest-rooms, herbal sale counter, Panchkarm etc will be developed, reports said.
