Earth hour will be observed on Saturday
BHOPAL: The Earth hour will be observed for one hour on March 31 from 8.30 to 9.30 pm. Under the campaign, the electrical appliances (except essential ones) in house and establishments should be switched off for one hour.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has appealed to people of the state to cooperate with the compaign which was started by World Wide Fund (WWF) for conserving energy and saving Earth.
He has appealed to all the people of the state, managers of government, non-government and commercial establishments, students and women not to use electrical appliances (except essential ones) in houses and establishments for one hour on March 31 from 8.30 pm.
World Wide Fund is a global institution, which is making continuous efforts for conserving nature, protecting environment and saving life on Earth.
