Directives to All Departments for Preparing Next Two Years’ Roadmap

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has issued directives to the departments for preparing a roadmap for the next two years. Presentation on roadmap will be given by the departments in the next cabinet meeting. Moreover, Shri Chouhan instructed to pay special attention towards resolutions, vision documents, announcements and budget provisions while preparing the roadmap. CM Shri Chouhan was addressing the high level meeting held at mantralaya today to ascertain annual targets of the departments. Ministers of all the departments, Chief Secretary Shri B.P. Singh and Heads of the departments were present in the meeting.

CM Shri Chouhan mentioned that the next budget session will start from January. Now financial year will start from January to December. He further said that those works which will be completed should be specified clearly while setting the quarterly, half yearly and annual targets.

Shri Chouhan mentioned that Pandit Deendayal Ji’s photos will be published necessarily in all government letter heads of the ministers beside advertisements and correspondence during the Pt. Deendayal birth centenary year. Issuing instructions to consider the possibility of linking new welfare schemes in ‘Gharib Kalyan Varsh’, Shri Chouhan said that innovative schemes have helped state to establish its image in the country.

Shri Chouhan said that departments should coordinate holding dialogues with each other to find out solution on any corelated issue. Do not waste time and energy on correspondence to save unnecessary delay.

CM Shri Chouhan issuing instructions to simplify trade and to prepare effective processes said that rules and regulations obstructing trade should be presented bringing necessary amendments. He also instructed to eradicate such laws which were enacted several years ago and have become completely irrelevant today. Deliberating on Union Government’s schemes and budget allotted under them, Shri Chouhan said that all the departments should forward budget utilisation certificate to the center on time so that the entire state avail the benefits of the Union Government’s schemes. For this all the heads of the departments should keep in constant touch with the concerned central ministries.

Moreover, Shri Chouhan praised Panchayat and Rural Development beside Urban Development and Housing department while reviewing the status of utility certificate in main departments and for making action plans to avail benefits of center’s schemes. Appreciating the initiative by Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department for establishing Gurukulam and Gyanodaya schools, Shri Chouhan said that 460 students from tribal areas of the state were selected in prestigious examination like JEE Mains. It is matter of pride for the state. Large number of students were also selected from Jhabua and Mandla. Shri Chouhan directed the department head for organising their convention to encourage them to get success in further examination.

Furthermore, Shri Chouhan reviewed the status of utilisation certificates by Narmada Valley Development, Agriculture, Water Resources, School Education and Health departments and issued directives to present a roadmap. Additional Chief Secretary Shri A.P. Shrivastava gave information on budget and budget availability in union government’s schemes.
