Dinosaur Fossil National Park coming soon in MP

Bhopal: In Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh where over 100 dinosaur eggs in fossil form were found, a National Dinosaur Fossil Park is coming soon, said officials on Friday.

This park will be spread over 89.740 hectare forest area near Bagh Caves, 80 km from Dhar town, the district headquarters, where fossils of more than 100 dinosaur eggs were found in 2006.

Scientists have estimated these fossils to be around 6.5 crore to 7 crore years old. Apart from eggs, fossils of dinosaur nests have also been found in the area.
