Digivijaya Singh back to strategising, assessment after day’s rest

Bhopal: The Congress candidate of the Bhopal Lok Sabha constituency Digivijaya Singh took an intensive meeting with the party workers to assess the polling, here on Tuesday. After 50 days of intense campaigning and polling on May 12, he took a day off with his near and dear ones on Monday. He started his day on Tuesday by assessing the polling pattern and working out further strategy. Singh discussed about the counting agents names with the party’s top leaders Rameshwar Nikhra and Vinay Dubey.

The leader from all eight constituencies reached out to him at his bungalow- with their reports on polling. Singh took special discussion on the high polling reported in the Berasia and Sehore Vidhan Sabha constituencies. Congress spokesperson Faruq Siddique informed that, Singh had done intensive campaigning in both the constituencies, the party workers assured that because of his canvassing the polling percentage had increased and the votes had gone in his favour. The party leaders from Bhopal North and Bhopal Central also assured that in their area respectively the voters had polled for the Congress. The workers from Govindpura Vidhan Sabha constituency, held as a bastion of BJP for last 40 years, expressed hope that the ex-chief minister Babulal Gaur who is on the bed rest, may have influenced voters in his favour.
