Digitalization is a revolutionary step taken for state schools: Baghel

Underlining the need to inculcate innovative techniques to impart quality education in government schools of the state, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel launched a project to digitalize class rooms at Marra village, where he had studied.

Speaking at a function organised on this occasion at Marra Higher Secondary School premises, the CM stressed on the need for quality education in government-run schools so that students from the state could sync with the contemporary time and compete at the national level.

Remembering the legendary persons of the state, Baghel further called upon the students to fight against orthodoxy and negative approach.

He further asserted that a revolution in the school education in the state will be ushered in with the launch of digitalization project at the school in village Marra.

He earlier inaugurated a digital room, Information Technology Laboratory and launched Diksha App at the function in the school.

Baghel also announced that a mini stadium, Nal-Jal Yojana and a passenger waiting shed will be constructed in the village.

Citing undergoing ‘Suraji Yojana’ Narva Garva, Ghurva Badi in the state, Baghel said it should not be taken as a government work. Instead, a public movement is needed to fulfill the dreams of Suraji Village of Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba (Bhave), he said. This will strengthen the rural economy and make the villagers prosper, he added.

He further stated that his government is committed to transform villages and making them prosper through Suraji Yojana in coming three years.

The hike in Minimum Support Price of paddy will certainly improve the condition of farming in the state and this is a big step towards making the farmers of the state prosper, he said. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Gaurav Dwivedi and School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh also addressed the function.
