Delegation of OIC of Korea meets CM Shri Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that there are immense possibilities of working in solar and wind energy sectors in Madhya Pradesh. Every possible cooperation would be extended to companies working in these sectors. The Chief Minister was holding discussions with a delegation of OIC of Korea on Tuesday. Chief Secretary Anthony de Sa and other officers were present on the occasion.

Chief Minister said that the state has also immense potential in new and renewable energy sector. Work is also being done in this direction in the state. World’s largest solar power plant is being established in Rewa district. He said that every individual or company is welcome to work in this sector. The state government will extend every possible assistance to them. Chief Minister underscored the fact that there is conducive atmosphere in the state in wind and solar energy sectors and government’s rules and procedures are fully transparent.

Chairman of OIC of Korea Wu Yun Lee evinced interest in working in solar energy sector in the state. He informed that his company is pioneer in manufacturing solar panels. Principal Secretary Industries Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary New and Renewable Energy Manu Shrivastava, Principal Secretary to CM S.K. Mishra and MD of TRIFAC D.P. Ahuja were also present on the occasion.
