Cruise Returns to Bhopal Lake on December 15

Bhopal  —  Over a year after it was docked due to rising concerns and diminishing water reserves, the much-loved cruise returns to the city’s scenic Upper Lake on December 15.

The cruise, operated by the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC), was decommissioned in September 2008 after scanty rainfall in the state capital that year.

With the recently concluded monsoons bringing the parched lake back to life, the cruise is now scheduled for a comeback to the ‘Bada Talab’, the favorite weekend haunt for most Bhopalis and tourists.
