Cong MLAs Taunt Woman BJP Legislator, Speaker Breaks Down in Tears

Upset with taunting of a woman BJP MLA by Congress legislators for coming late, speaker Ishwardas Rohani wept in his chamber on Wednesday, said media reports.

The incident followed after Congress MLAs reportedly taunted the woman MLA outside the Vidhan Sabha, saying that she was late as she must have been busy in a beauty parlour, reports said.

The woman legislator reported the matter to the Speaker Ishwar Das Rohani, who broke down and was reduced to tears, said reports.

Chief Minister Shiv Raj Singh Chauhan and other BJP MLAs later consoled the speaker.
