CM reached to Vidisha for Jandarshan, Sanctioned many rural development work
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan sanctioned a number of rural development works during Vidisha Jandarshan on Friday. During his visits to villages Palki, Tharr, Dehri, Jhirniya, Barkhera Gambhir and Naulas, the Chief Minister sanctioned a number of works of roads, education, power, water and health.
Rs. 6 lakh for schools: The Chief Minister gave away cheques Rs. one lakh each to St. Mary High School, Government Maharani Laxmi Bai Girls Higher Secondary School, Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Trinity Convent School, Vatsalya School and Shamshabad’s Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. The Chief Minister had announced Rs. one lakh for 6 educational institutions which had participated in cultural programmes at main Republic Day function at Vidisha. On the occasion, the Chief Minister and his wife Smt. Sadhna Singh wished bright future to school children. They exhorted students to complete studies and get posted at high posts.
City visit: The Chief Minister went round the city. He visited a number of localities and interacted with people cordially. The people also reciprocated the Chief Minister’s gesture. Shri Chouhan visited the house of late Shri Mohan Malik and consoled his family members. The Chief Minister inspected Vidisha’s new Krishi Upaj Mandi and directed to provide all facilities to farmers. He directed to ensure availability of fertilizers, seeds, pesticides and agriculture implements there.
I am a farmer to the core: During Jandarshan programme at village , Palki, Tharr, Dehri, Jhirniya, Barkhera Gambhir and Naulas, the Chief Minister said that he is a farmer to the core of his heart and has deep attachment with farming.
MNREGA to improve fields: The Chief Minister said that now sanction will be given to improve farms through MNREGA. He informed that now gram will also be procured on support price in the state like wheat.
Major demands conceded : Higher secondary school will be opened from next session at village Palki. CC road from main road in the village upto school sanctioned apart from stopdam-cum-culvert on Seu river.
