CM Fulfilled his Promise
Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has promised that Nikah of every daughter of poor of the state will be performed. Responsibility of marriage and nikah of all the nieces will be shouldered by the state government. To fulfill his promise, Shri Chouhan reached Ujjain before nikah to bless Shaina daughter of Saleem and Hamina Bi. Moreover, Shri Chouhan directed the district Collector Shri Sanket Bhondwe that all the necessary arrangements should be made by the state government for nikah.
It may be mentioned that the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan had visited Ujjain to participate in the Kisan Maha Sammelan on December 10. Stopping his motorcade, he was requested by Salim a scrap vendor and his wife Hamina Bi that they are unable to perform marriage of their daughter as they are poor. On hearing this, Shri Chouhan had assured them that the marriage of niece Shaina will be performed by him. Her marriage will be solemnised with revelry and he himself will bless her.
CM Shri Chouhan to fulfill his promise reached village Pandyakhedi of Ujjain district and blessed Shaina presenting bouquet today. Moreover, Shri Chouhan has assured the parents that they need not worry; the nikah of Shaina will be performed with all festivity. This affinity of Shri Chouhan has overwhelmed the parents.
