CM Calls on Governor, Extends New Year Greetings
Bhopal — Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Governor Rameshwar Thakur exchanged New Year greetings when the former called at the Raj Bhawan on Monday morning.
On the occasion the Governor expressed hope for greater prosperity and progress for the state in the New Year.
Deputy Speaker in the state assembly, Harvansh Singh, also called on the Governor and extended New Year greetings.
Higher Education Minister Laxmikant Sharma also called on Governor Thakur, who is also the Chancellor of universities in the state; the two leaders discussed the agenda of the ensuing meeting of University Coordination Committee.
Principal Secretary to the Governor, KK Singh, Principal Secretary Higher Education Jaideep Govind and Commissioner Higher Education Ashish Upadhayay were present on the occasion.
