Chouhan asked for soon clearance of M.P. Special Court Bill 2011

NEW DELHI(MPINFO): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday met the Union Home Minister P. Chidambram and urged him to clear the Madhya Pradesh Special Court Bill 2011 which is pending with Govt. of India for approval.

He said that State Govt. has launched a drive against corruption and the approval of the said Bill will give immense fillip to the campaign to curb the corruption.

Chouhan informed the Minister said that the Bill has the provision to dispose of cases related to corruption within one year from the court and punish the guilty. The Bill also gives the power to the State to confiscate the property amassed through illegal means.

The Union Minister Shri P. Chidambaram assured the Chief Minsiter of an early action in this regard
