CM appeal to augment forests on World Forestry Day

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has appealed to people to take pledge to enrich green cover on World Forestry Day – March 21.

In his message, the Chief Minister said that environmental conservation has been ancient tradition of Indian culture. The state government has taken initiative to associate people with forestry development through Hariyali Mahotsav. Planting and nurturing saplings is a community and spiritual activity. It is responsibility of every citizen to protect and augment forests.
