Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia campaigned on Thursday in favor of BJP candidate Alok Sharma from North Assembly constituency. Before starting the road-show from Shahjahanabad intersection, Scindia visited Kalika temple. After worshiping the Mother Goddess, Scindia and Sharma boarded the chariot and reached Durga Chowk in Tila Jamalpura via Regiment Road. Scindia and Sharma were given a warm welcome on the way.

The public and BJP workers welcomed Scindia and Sharma by showering flowers and bursting fireworks on the way. Women who came from home with decorated plates performed the Aarti of Scindia, while Tilak of Scindia was applied at many places. For this, stages were decorated on both sides of the road show route. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Scindia said that BJP’s resolve is development and service. Congress MLA did not get any development done here, but I assure you that Alok Sharma will definitely get development.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia praised Alok Sharma and said that today it came to light that the people of the city love you so much. On the crowd gathered during the road show and the welcome given to Indian culture, he said that we cannot believe that we are in Tilajamalpura area. At many places women queued up to welcome him.
