BJP sweeps local body elections

Bhopal: Bharatiya Janata Party continues to rule the roost. The party has swept the local body election in Madhya Pradesh by winning all the nine municipal corporations.

The elections were held on November 28 to elect 135 civic bodies in the state.

Out of 9 municipal corporations, Congress could not manage a win on even one.
