ATS Intensifies Vigilance on SIMI Activist in Ujjain, Indore
The Madhya Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has stepped up vigilance on suspected members of the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI), reported PTI.
According to a senior ATS official, the vigilance has been intensified on SIMI activists in Ujjain and Indore divisions of the Malwa region, said report.
The two divisions, known as the centre of SIMI’s activities, are said to be linked with terrorist strikes occurred during the last few years in the country.
The official said that vigil would also be kept for three-day national conclave of the BJP in Indore.
