Applications for Ladli Behna Yojana will be received from International Women’s Day : MP CM Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that work of receiving applications for the Ladli Behna Yojana being started for women will be launched from International Women’s Day. Under the scheme, an amount of Rs one thousand per month will be transferred to the accounts of women belonging to poor and middle class families. Applications will be filled by visiting villages and wards to identify the beneficiaries.

The Chief Minister called upon women to use the amount received under the scheme to strengthen their family.

Chouhan was distributing letters of Approval to more than 24 lakh 94 thousand beneficiaries of Bhopal, Sagar and Ujjain divisions under Mukhya Mantri Janseva Abhiyan in Vidisha today.

Chouhan transferred Rs 1,465 crore under Mukhya Mantri Kisan-Kalyan Yojana to the accounts of 73 lakh farmers of the state with a single click. He also dedicated and laid the foundation stone of development works worth Rs 80 crore 95 lakh 21 thousand. The program started with Kanya-pujan.

The Chief Minister said that he wants to make life easier for his sisters. Along with the earlier schemes, now the Ladli Behna Yojana will improve the lives of women. With the amount received under the scheme, women will be able to arrange milk, fruits and vegetables for their children. He said that many of our public welfare schemes that were stopped by the previous government, have been restarted. The Chief Minister said that what has not happened anywhere has happened in Madhya Pradesh and your brother Shivraj will do what no one has done.

Chouhan said that I am happy that 83 lakh such people have been identified in the state through the Mukhya Mantri Janseva Abhiyan, who are eligible to take advantage of government schemes. The work of distribution of approval letters to benefit all these citizens in 38 different schemes is going on in the state. Today, letters of approval were distributed to more than 24 lakh 94 thousand beneficiaries of Bhopal, Sagar and Ujjain divisions.

Chouhan said that in the Vikas Yatra starting in the state from February 5, work will be done to connect the left out people with the schemes. It is our resolve to ensure that no eligible family remains deprived of the benefits of the schemes.

Chouhan said that our government is a farmer friendly government. Correcting the fraud done with the farmers by the previous government, we paid the crop insurance amount as soon as we came to power and gave the amount of crop insurance to the farmers. He said that in the last two and a quarter years, our government has deposited Rs 2 lakh 25 thousand 837 crore in the accounts of farmers in various schemes like crop insurance, relief amount for horticulture, solar pump and electricity subsidy. This assistance will continue.

Till now Rs 6,000 was being received by a farmer’s family under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi and Rs 4,000 under Mukhya Mantri Kisan-Kalyan Yojana. Now these farmer families will also get Rs 12 thousand under the Ladli Behna Yojana. This way, the farmer’s family will start receiving Rs 22 thousand annually in a year. He informed that Rs 12 thousand crore will be spent every year and Rs 60 thousand crore in 5 years in Ladli Behna Yojana.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is running several schemes for the welfare of the poor and to make their lives better. A Maha Yagya is in progress for arranging ration, education, medicines and accommodation for the poor. Housing for the poor is being built after getting the government land from the land mafia. Cardholder families are also being given treatment facility up to Rs. 5 lakh in a year under the Ayushman Yojana. Higher education fees of the Ladli Laxmis and talented children of poor and middle class families are also being paid by the state government. He told that the process of one lakh 14 thousand government jobs has started in the state. Provision has been made for 50 percent reservation for women in teachers and 30 percent in police recruitment. With the special reservation system for women, elected women representatives in large numbers in Panchayat and urban bodies are doing good work.

If credit for development in state goes to someone, then it is CM Chouhan : Union Minister Tomar

The Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar, who joined the programme virtually, said that the state has embarked on the path of development. The government of Madhya Pradesh is dedicated to the village, the poor and the farmer. Chief Minister Chouhan has done the work of wiping the tears of every poor person. The light of development has reached every village. Today Madhya Pradesh is not a Bimaru (sickly) state but is in the category of a developed state. If credit is to be given to any one person in this saga of development, then without doubt the credit goes to Chief Minister Chouhan. He said that the sensitive Chief Minister Chouhan has benefited the needy by making and successfully implementing unprecedented schemes like eradication of poverty and malnutrition, marriage of poor daughters and Sambal for those who have no one. Today, the state is leading in organic farming along with electricity, water and roads. The state has the most favourable environment for the industrialists of the world. The efforts by the Chief Minister to boost investment are commendable.

Union Agriculture Minister Tomar said that Chief Minister Chouhan was born in Jait in Sehore district but his soul resides in Vidisha. Due to the love and blessings he has received from the people of Vidisha and other areas, today Chouhan is the most loved and popular leader of Madhya Pradesh. Shri Tomar congratulated and extended good wishes to Chief Minister Chouhan for the success of Mukhya Mantri Jan Seva Abhiyan.

Khajuraho MP VD Sharma said that Chief Minister Chouhan has established new dimensions of development. Under his leadership, work is being done to make every community empowered and capable. There was a time when people did not get the benefits of the schemes. Today in our government people are being asked from home to home whether they have got the benefit or not. Not only this, every eligible beneficiary is being given benefits. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Chouhan, work is being done to bring changes in the lives of 83 lakh people by benefiting them from various schemes.

Vidisha MP Ramakant Bhargava said that the head of the state and Vidisha’s brother Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has turned every stone to improve condition of Vidisha. Today, development is visible in all areas in Vidisha. He also gave information about the public welfare schemes being run by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. MLAs, public representatives and a large number of villagers were present in the programme.
