Aao Banayen Apna Madhya Pradesh a drive to promote sense of belonging

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that “Aao Banayen Apna Madhya Pradesh Abhiyan” is a drive to promote sense of belonging in every citizen of the state. He said that Madhya Pradesh will be included in the list of prosperous states through people’s cooperation. Shri Chouhan was addressing an “Aao Banayen Apna Madhya Pradesh” convention at Vidisha today. He inaugurated and laid foundation stones for Rs. 89 crore public welfare works and launched beneficiary-oriented schemes. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and local MP Smt. Sushma Swaraj was also present on the occasion.

Referring to state’s public welfare schemes, the Chief Minister said that state government will never discriminate between citizens. Government wishes to help every poor of all sections. He said that poor students will be given scholarship. Every poor person will be provided wheat and rice at Re. 1 per kg so that no one sleeps hungry in Madhya Pradesh.

The Chief Minister said that Vidisha will be among leading districts in next 5 years. Irrigation facilities and roads have been expanded. Besides, every thing found lacking will be provided in the district.

Shri Chouhan said that he is concerned about every person in the state. He infored government employees that Madhya Pradesh will revise their dearness allowance every time the Central government revises it.

After participating in the convention, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan visited Vidisha’s School of Excellence to see a cricket match. He congratulated Shri Mahendra Singh of Kanara Club on being selected in Ranji Trophy team and announced Rs. one lakh to him.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and local MP Smt. Sushma Swaraj said that Rs. 45 crore cancer institute will be opened at Vidisha. She informed that Rs. 189 crore has been sanctioned to ensure early construction of medical college. Smt. Swaraj said that “Aao Banayen Apna Madhya Pradesh” is a resolve, appeal and invitation made by head of the state to people to become partners in state’s development. She said that 2 of its shining examples are that Madhya Pradesh has received Krishi Karman Award twice and gender-based discrimination has been ended.

Revenue & Rehabilitation Minister and in-charge of district Shri Rampal Singh said that he will discharge responsibility of district entrusted to him by the Chief Minister.
