11 pantoon bridges should be constructed in Khandwa and Ujjain districts during Simhastha

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Defence Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar in New Delhi today. He urged him for construction of 11 pantoon bridges in Khandwa and Ujjain districts in view of Simhastha. Shri Chouhan informed that about 5 crore devotees would attend Simhastha. Most of them would also visit Omkareshwar in Khandwa district and Maheshwar in Khargone district. Pantoon bridges should be constructed at the earliest for convenience of devotees. It is noteworthy that Indian Air Force had built 7 pantoon bridges during Simhastha-2004.

Defence Minister Shri Parrikar assured Shri Chouhan that pantoon bridges would be constructed in time so that devotees face no inconvenience.
