CM to hold direct dialogue with outstanding voluntary organisations

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will hold direct dialogue with over 5000 representatives of Prasphutan, Navankur and other voluntary organisations associated with Jan-Abhiyan Parishad on Sunday, March 24 regarding development and public welfare. The Chief Minister is also Chairman of Jan-Abhiyan Parishad. Representatives from all 313 development blocks of the state will participate in the dialogue.

Jan-Abhiyan Parishad’s Senior Vice-Chairman and Finance Minister Shri Raghavji and Vice-Chairman duo Shri Pradeep Pandey and Dr. Ajay Shankar Mehta will also be present during the dialogue and workshop that will begin on the premises of Ravindra Bhavan at 11.30 am. On the occasion, state and district-level prizes will also be distributed to the organisations for their outstanding performance.
The first state-level prize will be given to Asha Gram Trust Barwani, second to Bhausaheb Bhuskute Smriti Lok Nyas Hoshangabad and the third prize will be conferred on Sarthak Samudayik Vikas Evam Jan-Kalyan Sanstha Bhopal. These organisations will be given prizes worth Rs. 5 lakh, Rs. 3 lakh and Rs. 1 lakh, respectively. Besides, the Chief Minister will give away prizes worth Rs. 1 lakh each to 39 district-level voluntary organisations. In addition, fellowships worth Rs. 8 thousand each to 5 researchers doing researches in universities on the issues linked with voluntary organisations.
During the dialogue, noted social worker Shri Mukul Kanetkar will also provide guidance to voluntary organisations. At the workshop, 42 stalls will also be put up for displaying outstanding performances of voluntary organisations.
