United NDA needed to defeat Congress : Sushma

New Delhi: Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj on Friday stressed that ‘united’ National Democratic Alliance (NDA) needed to defeat the Congress.

JD-U is upset over BJP’s decision to appoint Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as its poll campaign chief for 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

The BJP so far maintained that the coalition is intact ‘for now’. Asked about the possibility of a split, BJP vice president Mukhtar Ababs Naqvi said the Bihar government is “functioning so far”.
