Road rage: Doctor gunned down in Gurgaon, accused at large

New Delhi: In another case of road rage, a car driver on Saturday gunned down a doctor after his SUV accidentally hit the latter’s bike in Gurugram. The driver of the SUV was learning how to drive.
45-year-old Mahavir Yadav along with his brother-in-law had gone to survey a plot that they were interested in buying in Farukhnagar area.
The unfortunate incident happened when the doctor, who was riding a bike, was hit by an SUV. An argument broke out between the two. Following which, the car driver, Vikas called his brother, Ravi.
Enraged over the accident, Ravi came to the spot and fired four rounds at the doctor killing him on the spot. Amid the tussle, Vikas who tried to prevent his brother from shooting the doctor, was accidentally hit as well.
After which, Ravi took his brother to a hospital and fled. Even 24 hours after the inicident, no arrests have been made so far.
Police probe has revealed that Ravi has a criminal record and has been booked in Sonipat.
