Reports: Obama Visit to India in Aug. or Oct.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday told journalists on board his special craft that US President Barack Obama would visit India sometime in August or October, but added that the dates for the proposed visit were yet to be finalized, say reports.

“Obama will come to India in August or October,” the Prime Minister was quoted as saying by IANS.

“Dates are yet to be finalized,” he said.

The Prime Minister on Saturday returned home concluding an eight-day visit to the US and Brazil.

During his meeting with the US President on April 11, Manmohan Singh had told Obama that “India was eagerly looking forward to his visit”.
