Maoist Killed in Gunfight with Security Forces in WB

In a gunfight with security personnel, a Maoist has been killed in East Singhbhum district of West Bengal, said media reports citing police.

Police said that the body of Sunil Gorai, a member of the CPI (Maoist’s) Dalma firing squad, was found near Banporia village under Patamda police station, said reports.

Earlier, the security forces and the Maoists engaged in a gunfight at nearly 2 am which ended after rebels took to heels, reports said.

Later, when police searched the spot, they found Gorais body there, said reports.
