Late Kailash Joshi lived like an ascetic for the common man: CM Chouhan Old Flyover of Dewas and ITI of Hatpipalya will be named after Kailash Celebration of Late Kailash Joshi’s birth anniversary

Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Late  Kailash Joshi lived for the common man. He was such an ascetic personality, whose work and conduct speaks for him. Everyone lives for themselves, but Kailash ji lived for the common people. His commitment was towards the common man and the society. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the programme ‘Sant Smaran Diwas – Political Saint Kailash Joshi’ in association with Active Friends Bhopal being held today in Manas Bhawan, on the occasion of former Chief Minister Late Kailash Joshi’s birth anniversary. Office bearers and members of various political parties participated in the programme. Chief Minister  Chouhan said that the ITI in Hatpipalya, which is the birthplace of Late  Kailash Joshi will be named after Late  Joshi. The old flyover of Dewas will also be named after him. Chief Minister  Chouhan also paid floral tributes on the potrait of Late  Kailash Joshi.

Chief Minister  Chouhan said that  Kailash  was not egoistic. He possessed all the qualities mentioned in that verse of the Gita, in which the identity of a virtuous worker has been said to be free from attachment-hatred, free from ego, patient and enthusiastic. The Chief Minister said that his dedication towards all his work was visible. He was full of enthusiasm. He did many movements against injustice. The Chief Minister also shared some of his memories with  Joshi. He was usually polite, but it is not that he does not get angry. In the year 1974, during the by-election in Bhopal, Kailash ji’s fierce form was witnessed at a polling station in the capital. He did not tolerate disorder and irregularity.

Chief Minister  Chouhan told that certain aspects of Kailash ji’s personality left us spellbound. A man of principles, Kailash ji came to be known as a saint. In the modern age, Kailash ji was a saint among politicians and a politician among saints. If asked how the Chief Minister should be an ideal public representative today, the name of Kailash ji emerges at the top along with Late Shri Kushabhau Thackeray. Citing the example of the verses of Gita, the Chief Minister said that he was such a devotee who used to treat friends and foes equally, that is why the general public followed him. People’s representatives should take a pledge to follow the path shown by Kailash ji. His memories will always be with us.

Former Union Minister  Suresh Pachauri said that dutifulness can be learned from Late  Kailash ji. He was a friendly and generous personality. He always practiced principle based politics. Shri Hitanand Sharma said that the life that  Kailash Joshi lived, was on the basis of thoughts. He inspired everyone by creating a colossal organisation. In the beginning,  Jaiwardhan Joshi said that all the people’s representatives and citizens present on the occasion of Sant Smaran Diwas have expressed respect towards Shri Kailash Joshi. Representatives of many parties and organisations are present here.

Member of Parliament Sushri Pragya Singh Thakur, former MP  Alok Sanjar and  Raghunandan Sharma, Shri Makhan Singh,  Sumit Pachauri,  Jitendra Daga,  Gopikrishna Vyas, Shri Manohar Naik,  Shashi Bhai Seth,  Yogesh Joshi,  O.P. Tiwari,  Rajkumar,  Kailash Malviya,  Nandkishore, Abhay,  Anil Agarwal ‘Lily’,  Rajesh Hingorani,  Chandan Bhurani,  Vinod Tiwari,  Rajeev Khandelwal, besides Late  Kailash Joshi’s family members and citizens were present in the programme. The programme was conducted by  Jaivardhan Joshi.  Nitin Lohani thanked the guests and those present.
