Joshi Slams Cong for Demanding Dismissal of Modi Govt
The BJP has described Congress party’s demand for dismissal of Gujarat government over hooch tragedy as “political drama” and said that the Narendra Modi is doing a good job in promptly acting against the culprits.
“I do not want to talk about the several deaths and incidents which have taken place in Gujarat during Congress rule. There is no reason to seek the resignation of the Chief Minister (Narendra Modi) and no case of state government’s dismissal,” senior leader Murli Manohar Joshi said in New Delhi.
He described the demand for the resignation of Modi by Congress as a “political drama.” He stressed that in raiding and nabbing the accused in the hooch tragedy, Modi government is doing a “good job”.
“Crimes take place across the country. The state government is doing its job…we have not heard of allegations that the state government was behind the incident,” he argued.
It should be noted that the Congress protested the handling of hooch tragedy by Gujarat BJP government leading to adjournment of house for over an hour.
