Four Poachers Shot Dead at Kaziranga National Park

In an encounter with the forest staff, four poachers were shot dead in the morning at Kaziranga National Park, which has high rhino concentration, said media reports.

Kaziranga is one of the most successful rhino conservation parks and has the highest density of tigers in the country today.

However, it came under tremendous pressure due to poaching for the past few years.

It has been an active centre in the wildlife trade racket.
